2. What is Sanathana Dharma?

This is Humanity's greatest treasure containing the wisdom we need for highest human evolution as well as living in harmony with everyone and the nature around us.

 

3. Why should we care about Sanathana Dharma?

Great question, glad you asked. 

We believe that current world is on a dangerous path to destroy itself, not in 100s of years, not in 50 years but less than 20 years. Hard to believe? Please read the statistics below and also check the sources.

Statistics:

1. More than 1000 million Acres of land has been deforested in last 50 years - this area is equal to half the land size of USA. source

2. About 7 billion metric tons of Plastic waste was created in last 50 years. It takes about 500 years for plastic to decompose. Source

3. We have punctured the ozone layer in the sky which protects us from harmful rays. The size of the hole is about 26 million sq km as on 16 September 2023. This is roughly three times the size of Brazil. Source

4. Oceans are being polluted at alarming rate. Currently some 200 million tons of plastic waste is estimated to be in the ocean - this affects fishes that people eat and all marine life responsible for maintaining ecological balance. Source

5. In the name of Globalization, people across the world have forgotten their real origin and culture. Many dont even know how to read and write their own mother tongue language. They are disconnected from their local traditions, rituals and customs as well as they prefer to dress, speak and behave as global citizens with no inclination to any religion, faith or belief system. This is not advancement of civilization but catastrophic loss to the cultural heritage passed down from hundreds of generations. Next, globalization also increased global inequality, volatile markets, corruption, loss of jobs and environmental degradation.

6. The current world has enough bad things that will enable us to kill ourselves and the entire planet several thousands of times. If we do not protect our selves, our family and the nature around us - the last tree, last drop of water and last breath of air will be polluted and destroyed forever. Not to mention the bad side effects of current education system, synthetic food, corruption, greed and lust - there is very little hope for a bright future if we continue to live in the same way.
