Jyotirlinga
Jyotirlinga
Out of stock
In the heart of the universe,
amidst glowing flames,
I see a jyotirlinga bearing sacred names.
Immersed in the cosmic womb
your offering is made,
Seeds of life are deeply laid.
The warmth of fire facilitates creation,
Ambers turn to ash, reflecting its dissolution.
With ash on your form, you make us see,
The impermanence of life, and the soul's eternity.
Here are the sacred names mentioned in the poem:
Atmalinga [आत्मलिङ्ग] - Shiva; our soul
Jyotirlinga [ज्योतिर्लिङ्ग] - the image of a fiery and golden shivalinga or a linga which Shiva has entered
Bhasmoddhulitavigraha [भस्मोद्धूलित - विग्रह] - the one who is anointed with ash Bhuteshvara [भुतेश्वर] - Lord of the five elements symbolised as the five tongues of fire]
