The Guiding Light of Sringeri – After His Guru’s passing in 1954, He was enthroned as the 35th Jagadguru of Sringeri, serving for 35 years with great compassion and wisdom.
A Tireless Spiritual Messenger – Traveling across India, from remote villages to Nepal, He uplifted millions through His discourses, spreading the truth of Advaita and Sanatana Dharma.
A Visionary Leader and Institution Builder – He established Math branches, renovated temples, founded Vedic schools, Sanskrit academies, hospitals, and religious and cultural centers, ensuring the preservation of Dharma.
A Unifier of Traditions – In 1979, He orchestrated a historic meeting of the four Jagadgurus of Sringeri, Puri, Dwaraka, and Badrinath, the first such gathering since Adi Shankaracharya’s time.
A Guru Beyond Boundaries – Accessible to all, from common devotees to world leaders, He was a beacon of wisdom and compassion. Entrusting the Peetham to His successor, He attained Mahasamadhi in 1989, leaving behind an everlasting spiritual legacy.

About this Book

The book starts with short accounts about Acharyal and His Guru in the words of the reigning pontiff, H.H. Jagadguru Sri Bharati Theertha Mahaswamigal, and Acharyal respectively. Then, after some relevant information relating to Acharyal's pre-samnyasa days, commences a detailed account of His practice of hatha-yoga, devotion, karma-yoga, kundalinj-yoga, nada-anusandhana, contemplation on the Atman, meditation and samadhi on divine forms, scripture based reflection on the Truth and savikapla-samadhi and nirvikalpa-samadhi (the acme of yoga) on the absolute; and of His thorough elimination of notions of the non-Atman, His enlightenment and jivanmukti.
